Alternative medicine has been a life long pursuit.  Growing up with holistic medicine and practicing Chigong (the Chinese method of energy cultivation) since the age of 16, I have always had an interest in alternative methods of healing and health.

After graduating from The University of Michigan with a B.A. in Asian Studies, I attended the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, a four year program in energy healing.  Although ostensibly it was a school focused on healing others, the core of the program was actually focused on learning about oneself (sometimes excruciatingly so) in order to better serve one’s patients.  Consequently, healing is performed with pure intention and free of ego.  The more clear and honest the practitioner becomes about her or himself, the more energy they can channel.

After the Brennan program and many courses in manual therapy (from massage to structural integration and everything inbetween), I began studying at Yo San University and specialized in advanced orthopedics, earning a Doctorate degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
